Hailing from Seattle, WA, drummer Jay Lepley has lived in New York City over ten years. He graduated with a BFA in jazz performance from The New School Jazz Program in 2004. He has since developed a reputation as a passionate and stylish performer and appeared with many jazz and swing groups, including the Howard Williams Orchestra, Double Down, Champian Fulton, Candace DeBartolo, Carlton Holmes, Gordon Webster, and Dan Levinson. In addition to Felix and The Cats, he performs regularly with the Tom Abbott Orchestra and Michael Arenella’s Dreamland Orchestra.
